Maureen Mauney Yoga has become my passion and blueprint for living. The practice of Yoga is a way of connecting with Spirit and cultivating life affirming qualities of compassion, balance and trust. If you can breathe, you can do yoga. My classes are centered in breath, alignment and safe exploration. In 2008 I completed my 200 hour teacher training as a Certificate Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and have since studied under nationally acclaimed teachers, Tia’s Little and Doug Keller. I began practicing Yoga when my youngest of three children was in elementary school, all my children are now grown and I have two wonderful grandchildren who practice yoga and meditation with Grandma. Restorative Yoga gently opens the body and breath while balancing the nervous system. Whether you’re a beginner, exhausted from a long day at work, have health and mobility issues or you’re in the mood for a relaxing class, you will find this class to be deeply restorative using the support of props to facilitate deep muscular and emotional release.
